In fact while I don't have the patience to play that anymore I don't think there is any MMO that comes as close as that in so far as letting you live in a virtural world, though SWG before the changes had a lot of that. I see very little innovation in MMOs from UO. Those who have played it know what I mean. I also played as long as I did because of the character creator. The "City of" game was a bit different and I played that the most. When it comes down to it you bacially do the same thing in all.

Now adays my feelings are mixed one because I think I have some burn out going on but also because I question the time I spend on them. I had a good time playing each and played each at least a year or more. Played EQ, EQ II, Anarchy Online, Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heros/Villains, Star Wars Galaxies (before the changes) and even played Final Fantasy XI for all of about 12 minutes (worst interface for an MMO I have ever seen). I have played most of the major ones going back to UO.
